Richard began his distinguished litigation career in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office as a Prosecutor in the Felony Trial Courts and the Gang Crimes Unit. Since 1987, Richard has focused his practice on personal injury law and medical malpractice. He has secured numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for victims of negligence throughout the Chicagoland area, including a record-breaking $14 million settlement involving a trucking accident that left his client paralyzed.

Recently, Richard Pullano and Mathew Siporin participated in a litigation lab class at the DePaul University College of Law. They provided critique for students of James Clark as they litigated cases, offering insight based on their extensive litigation experience.
On the same day, Richard Pullano attended the presentation of the L. Sanford Blustin Award to the Honorable James P. Flannery, Jr., Presiding Judge of the Law Division in the Circuit Court of Cook County. This award was presented at the North Suburban Bar Association's Installation and Recognition Dinner, and it recognizes those who have made outstanding contributions to the legal community. Richard Pullano is a Past President of the NSBA.
Pullano Law Obtains $8 Million Settlement in Cook County Brain Injury Case Against a Trucking Company

Richard Pullano and Mathew Siporin from Pullano Law Offices obtained a significant settlement on behalf of a man who suffered permanent and debilitating injuries when a semi-tractor trailer t-boned the driver side door of his SUV. While the accident occurred in Lake County, Pullano Law successfully pursued the case in Cook County for their clients.
The man was driving to work when without warning a truck broadsided his vehicle and pinned him inside his SUV. He was initially diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and pelvic fractures that were treated non-operatively. Despite not needing any orthopedic surgeries, the man was left with permanent cognitive and neurologic impairments, including drop foot and chronic pain.
Attorney Mathew T. Siporin, of Pullano Law in Chicago, has been awarded the designation as a Lifetime Elite Lawyer in the field of personal injury law.

Chicago Attorney Matthew Siporin Secures Significant Judgment in e-Cigarette Case

Several users of electronic cigarettes have suffered moderate-to-severe injuries as a result of the device exploding. Pullano Law Offices in Chicago recognizes this new consumer risk and has already helped victims in receiving personal injury compensation from the parties responsible.
Pullano Law Offices attorney Matthew Siporin recently helped a client receive a $186,000 judgment against an e-cigarette manufacturer after the client suffered serious burns when the device exploded. The case is still pending in the Denver District Court under case number 17 CV 30263.
“At Pullano Law Offices, we aggressively advocate to make these products safer by ensuring that victims obtain justice and holding the wrongdoers accountable,” said firm owner Richard L. Pullano.
According to a study by the U.S. Fire Administration, there were 195 reports of exploding e-cigarettes in the U.S. from 2009 to 2016. Of the 133 injuries from these explosions, 38 were severe. In May, a Florida man was reportedly the first person to die as a result of an e-cigarette explosion, according to various media reports.
